This morning on 98FM's Big Breakfast, Cooper and Luke got into a heated debate about the pronunciation of Sudocrem.
Do you say it as Sudo-creme or Sudo-cream?
Well, incase you're wondering the correct pronunciation is actually Sudo-creme, as we learned from this ad below...
I know, right? Cooper was right and we have all been living a lie.
Anyway, we've decided to put together a list of other words you may also be mispronouncing.
1. Jif vs. GIF
GIF inventor Steve Wilhite shocked the world when we revealed the pronunciation of GIF during a speech for a Lifetime Achievement Award. (Skip to 0.58)
Yep. We thought it was a hard ‘G,’ too.
2. Expresso vs. Espresso
Get rid of that x, honey. It's pronounced Espresso!
3. Heighth vs. Height
You don't need that extra "th" sound on the end. It's 'height'.
4. Nutella vs. Nootella
You've probably been pronouncing the name of your favourite hazelnut/chocolate spread wrong this whole time. Last year Nutella revealed that the official pronunciation is 'noo-tella' or 'new-tell-uh'.
5. IKEA vs. ee-KAY-uh
Most people say "I-kee-ya" instead of the totally different but correct "ee-KAY-uh."
6. Ariana Grand vs. Ariana Gran-day
Like a medium-sized Starbucks coffee, Ariana's sir-name is pronounced Gran-day, as in "I had a grand day in work".
It turns out the singer also has her own problems with pronunciation.
7. Lidl - Is it Liddle, L-eye-dul or Lee-dul?

8. Meme - Is it Me-Me, Mem, or Meem
It's only right that we explain this one in the form of a meme...
9. David Guetta - Gwetta or Getta?
Get rid of that 'w', the DJ's name is pronounced 'Getta'!
