Bill Hader called into The Ray Foley Show a few days ago with his Trainwreck castmates. Lovely bunch of lads. Well now Bill is back in the US and he was on Conan O'Brien talking about the Irish accent he picked up when he was in Dublin. It's not pretty. Go to 1.30 for the full effect.

There are so many bad Irish accents. We had a bit of a chat about them.

Honourable mentions:

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman in 'Far and Away' - the fact they didn't break up after this made me believe they'd last forever because who else could keep straight faces around them.

Sean Connery in both 'The Untouchables' and 'Darby O'Gill and The Little People' - so bad he did it twice.

Matthew Goode in 'Leap Year' - this was so god awful that I have started to love this movie with a passion. It has been watched 3 times this year alone and it's TERRIBLE. Worth a look.

Kevin Spacey in 'Ordinary Decent Criminal' - He has accolades tumbling out of his fuzz free arse but this accent, he could really shove it up there. Sorry Kev.

Julia Roberts in 'Michael Collins' and 'Mary Reilly' - another repeat offender. I think the worse the accents get, the more I like the movies. Whenever I see Mary Reilly on the late night TV listings - it's always super late at night - I know that I'm gonna stay up to watch it.

Brad Pitt in 'The Devil's Own' - oh, make it stop.

Jared Leto in 'The Last of The High Kings' - this was one of the first movies that Jared did after 'My So Called Life' and it may have set his career back about a decade.

I know there are so many more but we'd be here all day.

Join Ray, JP and Muireann every weekday morning on The Ray Foley Show from 6-10am only on 98FM.
