We have managed to miss a few advent calendar days on the show. Mainly because I opened them before I took off for an extremely long weekend and ate what was inside. It wasn't 5 gold rings or a bunch of geese, I assure you. Just your run of the mill, crappy, delicious chocolate.
We opened the 8th advent calendar door this morning. Golly gosh am I glad I didn't have to eat what was inside as I would have been eating my words. Actually Hilary Featherstone's words. Hilary sent us in a Christmas poem for our calendar and it was lovely. Have a listen:
