This morning on Dublin Talks we discussed the latest gangland shooting in Dublin. Notorious drug-dealer David Byrne from Crumlin was shot dead last Friday afternoon at a boxing weigh-in event in The Regency Hotel in Drumcondra when gunmen stormed the hotel and brutally murdered him.
Some of the Irish papers published pictures of Davids dead body slumped at the reception area in the hotel after he was shot. This got some very mixed reaction from the public with some people saying it was "distasteful" and "unnecessary" while others believe that this needs to be seen in order to deter other people from getting involved in crime.
We asked you how you feel about it.
One caller rang in to say she was completely disgusted with the papers for publishing these pictures which annoyed a few listeners in particular, this started a very heated debate.
