What's this madness about? We don't have a London Tube system but that doesn't mean that there's not a lot going on under our feet. Yesterday it was announced that work is to be done on the Phoenix Park Rail Tunnel. I didn't even know that there was a tunnel under Phoenix Park but there you go.
We wanted to know more; how many tunnels are there in Dublin? Can we go walking around them? Is there some kind of Roman catacomb system under there and could the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles be living beneath us? We talked to Karl Whitney, author of 'Hidden Dublin; Adventures and Explorations in Dublin', to get some answers.
Karl said it lads, The Turtles could happen in Dublin.
