Suarez Bite Gets The Now Sport Treatment

1. Gareth Farrelly -  Well now I wonder what I'll talk to my resident World Cup expert on this week?

I'll give you a hint - ex Republic of Ireland international Gareth has been watching his old Dracula videos to get himself in the mood!

Yeah I'd imagine we'll be talking a lot about Luis Suarez and the fallout from his latest bout of gnasher sinking.

With the Uruguayan FA appealing, the saga's not over yet and how Liverpool Football Club feel about being punished for a crime committed outside their jurisdiction is anyone's guess.


And it's not as if there's nothing else going on !

Messi magic for Argentina, the Dutch weaving their magic, Spain waving adios to the world, Colombia showing everyone how's it done and Costa Rica coming of age on the international scene.

And - yeah you knew it was coming - plenty there to sink your teeth into!


2. Kieran Duff -  Quite simply a Dubs legend.

All Ireland win in 1983 -  two All Stars in 1987 and 1988 - two League medals in 1987 and 1991.

The Duffer looks ahead to the Dubs Leinster Football Championship semi final against Wexford at Croker on Sunday.

3. Owen Casey - Once the enfant terrible of the Irish tennis scene, Owen's now a mature headbanger (a bit like you Johnny!) and takes a look at what's been going on during the first week of Wimbledon.


4.   Mark O'Byrne -  Did you know the original World Cup, the Jules Rimet Trophy, was an amalgamation of gold plated sterling silver and a deep blue coloured semi precious stone? Well did ya ?!

That the World Cup weighs 6.177 kilogrammes?

That the World Cup is worth just under 150 grand ?

Betcha didn't?
