Russell Crowe has hit back at an Irish reporter on Twitter, calling her ‘a plonker’.
When Russell was in town for the premier of Noah, Irish journo, Niamh Walsh asked him if his rugby team would ever play against Ireland.
Crowe then explained that his team play rugby league and not rugby union.
The journalist doesn't seem to care and asks him the same question again, before telling him that he didn't know Ireland was in the UK.
Ensue lots of awkwardness..
That's not where it ends though, this journo then took to Twitter to have a go at Russell, saying 'at least I know geography.. Ireland is not in the UK. #fearlessjourno'.
To which, Russell replied, 'fearless journo my ass. You're just a plonker who didn't get the answer you'd predetermined & you got shirty.fail."
Safe to say, Russell won that one.
