98FM's weekly sports show "Now That's What I Call Sport" airs every Sunday morning from 9-10am.

Presented by myself Philip Egan, this week's show broadcast on Sunday May 4th features the following guests:

1. Liam Jegou

The 18 year old won silver at the International Canoe Federation Junior World Championships in Australia. Liam’s mother is from Clare and he lived there until he was seven but then the family moved to France where his dad is from and his dad was a top canoeist himself. Jegou placed second in Mens C1  at the ICF Slalom Junior World Championships in Penrith after qualifying for the finals in sixth place.

2. Sue Ronan

The Republic of Ireland Womens manager speaks to us ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Russia at Tallaght Stadium next Wednesday. The Girls in Green were denied a famous result against the mighty Germans last month, only an injury time goal from the visitors gave the second best team in the world  a 3-2 win in Tallaght. The good thing about football is you usually don’t have to wait too long for your next game so Sue will look ahead to the Russia game and we’ll also have a chat about the Bus Eireann Women’s National League which Raheny United won for the second season in a row.

3. Ken Doherty

The Darling of Dublin got to the second round of the World Championship which was his first win at the Crucible since 2006. The 1997 champion is still over in Sheffield due to his commitments with the BBC so Ken will look ahead to Sunday’s final and we’ll look back at some of the highlights from the last couple of weeks. Ken is also a big Manchester United fan so it would be rude not to ask him about what’s gone wrong at Old Trafford this season.

4. Paul McGrath

Paul is an absolute legend of the game and one the best players to wear the Ireland jersey. He also enjoyed a great career in England so we’ll talk about the Premier League title race which looks set to go right down to the wire. Paul played for Manchester United so we’ll see what he makes of Louis Van Gaal who’s on the brink of getting the United job and we’ll also ask him what he thought of Dani Alves’ reaction to having a banana thrown at him (link here for that incident ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahiWKAu8huA)

5. Leon Blanche from Boyle Sports gives us the betting on the big games on Sunday

Competition:

A pair of football boots of your choice from Lifestyle Sports.
