The manager’s deal expires after Euro 2016.
He’s been linked with a return to club management with Nottingham Forest and Everton this week.
With just over a month now until Ireland’s first match in France, and reports that Roy Keane could be named the next Celtic manager, Kilbane feels the FAI need to sort things out before the tournament kicks off.
