For the first time since 1948, Ireland will be represented in a team event at this Summer's Olympic Games as the men's hockey team are set to play in Rio de Janeiro.
But unfortunately the Irish team have more than the sport on their minds.
The team themselves are trying to raise the €225,000 needed help them prepare properly for Rio.
Ireland hockey captain David Harte says they won't be using their lack of funding ahead of the Olympics as an excuse.
