Ireland’s 6 Nations 3-in-a-row hopes are all but over, Ballyboden St Enda’s are into their first ever All-Ireland Club Football Final, the Dublin hurlers were well beaten in their opening league game by Tipp and Shamrock Rovers are getting ready to play the Argentina U23s in the 30 degree heat of India tonight.

We had exclusive re-action and build-up to all of those games on Now That’s What I Call Sport this morning.

Malcolm O’Kelly told Jamie Moore what went wrong for Ireland last night, and why we are getting so many serious injuries.

Jason McAteer compared the atmosphere after his goal against Holland in 2001 as better than the one after Shane Long scored at The Aviva against Germany last year in the Euro qualifiers.

He also told Jamie why he doesn’t like being called a Spice Boy and how he was sold to Bolton, with the transfer fee being a bag of footballs.

Former Republic of Ireland International Jason McAteer and Ireland women’s international Áine O’Gorman, speaking at the launch of the 2016 SPAR FAI Primary School 5s Programme.

This fun five-a-side schools competition is open to boys and girls from 4th, 5th and 6th class.

County blitzes will begin at the end of February and the winners will then progress to regional, provincial and the national finals which will be held in the Aviva Stadium on May 11th.

For further information or to register your school please see www.spar.ie or www.faischools.ie.

Jamie also spoke to Ireland women's international Aine O'Gorman about their Euro 2017 qualification campaign which starts against later this year.

Shamrock Rovers are in India playing in Sait Nagjee Amarsee International tournament, taking place in Calicut.

Rovers have played two games already, they lost their opening game 2-0 to Ukrainian side Dnipro but then kept their hopes of making the semi-finals in this 8 team tournament alive with a 3-2 win over 1860 Munich U23s.

The Hoops play the Argentina U23 team that will play in the Olympics later today, and a win Pat would see you into the semi finals. He spoke to Jamie from the team hotel...

It was a ‘Super Saturday’ of Sport on 98FM yesterday.
