On September 20th 2014, Jonny Cooper was stabbed several times in the face and neck in an unprovoked attack while making his way home after a night out.

1 year later exactly, on September 20th 2015 he was walking up the steps of the Hogan Stand as Dublin won the Sam Maguire.

He spoke to 98FM's Darren Cleary about the mental recovery after such an ordeal, and how his positive outlook helped make 2015 one to remember on and off the pitch.
