Legendary broadcaster Bill O'Herlihy died today.
He was best known for hosting every major sporting event for the state broadcaster but was most loved for chairing the soccer commentary alongside Eamon Dunphy and John Giles.
Not so long ago we did an hour long special of 'Now That's What I Call Sport' where we invited Bill into studio to chat about his life and his achievements.
He will be truly missed by all of us here in 98FM.
