Niall Quinn says it was a 'no brainer' for Brighton to sign Richie Towell.
The 24-year-old will join Chris Hughton's Championship leaders in January after leaving Dundalk to sign a 2-and-a-half-year contract.
Towell joined Celtic as a 16 year old but was released and had to return home but now Quinn feels that Towell will be respected a lot more due to his excellent form for Dundalk.
The former Irish international also spoke about young Irish players risking their education to move to England at the age of 16 and encouraged all players and their parents to stay in Ireland until they complete at least their Leaving Cert.
