Bad news for password-grifters...
We've been hearing threats about this for a while but it's looking like Netflix are finally living up to their promise that they're going to ban password-sharing.
It was confirmed in a letter sent out to shareholders last week that the streaming platform is planning to no longer allow users to share passwords by the end of March.
Netflix is planning to ban all password sharing by March 2023. The company expects to make around $720 Million from the change 🎬💰 pic.twitter.com/JRA8MPWByK

Netflix said account sharing affected over 100 million households, which "undermines our long-term ability to invest in and improve Netflix".
So as they plan to roll out "paid sharing" the parasite will have their profile shared to new account - that they'll be expected to pay for!
We'll know more about exactly who this affects closer to the time, but one thing's for sure, Netflix are going to make a fair few bob off this crackdown!
