The Ireland boss spoke to 98FM's Jamie Moore after Ireland's 1-1 draw with Scotland on Saturday evening, which keeps the Scots two points ahead of Ireland in the group.
He says its "advantage Scotland" with four games remaining, but has not given up hope just yet.
