This morning on Dublin Talks we discussed a petition which was signed by 2,500 residents who live close to Marlay Park and want the concerts to stop. We were contacted by Jane who lives beside Marlay Park and said she feels like a prisoner in her own home. Jane told us about the impact it is having on her life and on her health. We then spoke to Maureen who also lives across from the park and said it has gotten to the stage where she can't even get out of her house when their is an event on. Another resident called to tell us that he believes it brings a "great atmosphere" and that everyone needs to "lighten up". Some people believe that the residents who are objecting to future concerts are "moanbags" and are simply ruining the fun for everyone else.
