The SSE Airtricity League of Ireland season kicks off this coming Friday, March 4th and 98FM’s Now That’s What I Call Sport had a comprehensive preview ahead of the big kick off.

Jamie Moore was joined by former St. Pats and Bohemians’ midfielder and Setanta Sports analyst Damian Lynch, and the managers of the six Dublin clubs.

Pat Fenlon (Shamrock Rovers), Liam Buckley (St. Pats) and Keith Long (Bohemians) as well as Collie O’Neill (UCD), Kevin Doherty (Shelbourne) and Eddie Gormley (Cabinteely) joined Jamie for a chat.

Dundalk are looking to make it three league title wins in a row, can Cork, Rovers and Pats go closer than they did in 2015?

Bohemians and Bray want to break into the top four, there’s new managers at Sligo and Derry, Galway and Longford will be trying to survive again having stayed up last season and how will the promoted teams, Wexford Youths and Finn Harps, get on in the big league?

Damo does not think Dundalk will win it again and fears for one of the teams who really impressed last season, Bohemians.
