This morning on 98FM’s Big Breakfast, Kodaline told us an epic story about being stopped at the American border by some suspicious patrol guards.
Not liking the look of the lads, or realising who they were, the band were questioned for hours and their tour bus was searched.
“The just didn’t believe we were musicians”
The only way Kodaline could prove that they are infact a band was to perform for the guards and so they broke into song.
“We sang Acapella at like four in the morning…. then the atmosphere changed immediately and they were like, oh wow, you guys ARE a band!”
After their impromptu performance, Kodaline were allowed cross back into the US!
