Kevin McLaughlin will miss Leinster's next RaboDirect Pro12 tie against Glasgow at the RDS on Saturday night.

The former Irish international backrower has a facial injury sustained during the Blues' win at Cardiff last Thursday.

McLaughlin underwent surgery at St Vincent's Hospital and is expected to be fit in time for the Zebre game at the end of March.

Other than McLaughlin, there were no further ill effects from the Cardiff win.

While the players released from Ireland's Six Nations squad including Martin Moore, Jordi Murphy, Fergus McFadden, Sean Cronin and Jack McGrath all trained as normal.
