Folks,

98FM 's weekly sports show "Now That's What I Call Sport " airs every Sunday morning from 9-10am.

Presented by myself Johnny Lyons, this week's show broadcast on Sunday October 12th features the following guests :

1.  Kevin Kilbane -

You've seen him on the telly on Match of the Day.

Now you can hear him on the radio !

Always a pleasure to talk to Kev who's moved seamlessly from playing week in week out to the other side of the football galaxy.

KK never presumed he could stroll into the journalistic hotseat and start penning Pulitzer winning articles - he did the hard yards and went and got himself a degree in journalism (note from the Programme Director - eh Johnny and you're qualified in what again)? before ploughing his broadcasting furrow.

Kev was always a shoo in for the media - good looking, suave and knowledgeable into the bargain (ok Johnny PD again - get on with it boy)!

The boy Kev - a real crowd favourite on the 110 times he wore the Irish shirt - joins us to talk about the German threat that's in front of us on Thursday.

You know - despite their no show against the Scots in which they were dead lucky - they're not the world champions for nowt and a fascinating 90 minutes of action is ahead of us on Tuesday in Gelsenkirchen.

2. Dietmar Hamann -

Now who better to do the Germany match than the Didi man ?!

Didi's a Liverpool legend but he was also a vastly experienced German international who blasted home a famous winner against England at Wembley !

Didi gives us a Teutonic take on the massive Ireland v Germany game in Gelsenkirchen on Tuesday.

3. Gareth Farrelly -

Our resident international soccer expert is all prepared for what's gonna unfold on Saturday at the Aviva!

I've told him - have the pen and notepad ready and mark the goals for column up to 10 !  -  and then note the goalscorer where appropriate.

Yes, ex Republic midfielder Gareth's reporting back on the Gibraltar goalfest !

4. Gerry Smith -

And we'll be talkin' to the Simon Cowell of the Irish junior scene!

The evergreen Gerry has been in charge of the Republic Junior and Intermediate teams for decades now and is on to tell us how Ireland will do in the upcoming UEFA Regions Cup tournament in Hungary.

Competition:

Tix for Leinster v Wasps at the RDS on Sunday week

Thanks,

Johnny.
