Kat and Alfie from Eastenders will soon be swapping the streets of London for the green fields of Ireland in a Spin Off Show set to air on BBC this Autumn.

Back in January when Jessie Wallace(Kat) and Shane Richie (Alfie) joined us on 98FM's Big Breakfast, they revealed that filming for the new show would begin in Ireland this April.

The turbulent soap couple are traveling to Ireland in search of Kat's long lost son who moved over here as a child.

Now only a couple of weeks away, the BBC are looking for Irish people to appear as extras on the new show.

The first extras casting will take place in Waterford this Friday (April 1st) in Dunmore East at the Harbour Sailing Club from 4pm -8pm. About a two hour drive from Dublin.

If you don't make it down on Friday don't worry, they'll be casting again in Waterford City on Saturday the 2nd April at The Central Arts on the Quay from noon until 7pm.

It's an open casting session and they are encouraging men and women of all ages to turn up.

Let us know if you head down and get a part! Sure, any excuse to say 'GET OUTTA MY PUB!

Join Cooper & Luke every weekday morning from 6-10am only on 98FM's Big Breakfast.
