This morning on Dublin Talks we asked if lingerie is an appropriate Christmas present to give a woman after Jeremy said that he is spending €200 on lingerie for his other half this year.
During the discussion a listener named Breda called in to say that if her husband bought her lingerie for Christmas she would be "disgusted" and that a woman should get something that says "I love you and NOT I want to mount you. I would be disgusted if my husband bought me lingerie for Christmas". This angered many of our listeners who rang in saying that Breda is a prude and that they would be delighted if they were given lingerie for Christmas as "it keeps things interesting".
We then went on to ask our listeners' what is on the list of top 10 things women want for Christmas and received some hilarious answers, such as:
