Consider this situation, a woman ends up pregnant and when she gives birth she is in a very distressed state and feels that she cannot cope with this baby...  What choices does she have?

She doesn’t know who to turn to... so she ends up doing the unthinkable and dumps her baby hoping that it will be picked up by someone and cared for.

On Thursday’s Dublin Talks, we asked if it’s time that baby hatches were introduced in Ireland where distressed mothers can anonymously leave their babies in a safe environment and not be judged?

During the conversation, Jeremy spoke to Catriona who told the incredible story of how was thought she’d lose her new baby if she admitted she was suffering from postnatal depression.
