This morning on Dublin Talks we had a discussion on scramblers and quad bikes in Dublin after receiving an email from a woman in Tallaght who is fed up seeing kids going around on them. She believes it is only a matter of time before another child is killed on one.
We asked if parents who allow their children to use them are "irresponsible" or is it no big deal?
We heard from various people who have very mixed opinions on this.
We heard from a caller who hates them and says "they should all be banned". This caller is from Cherry Orchard and says he is sick of them around the area.
We also spoke to a father who believes that if your child wants one, especially for Christmas, you HAVE TO get it for them because you "can't say no".
Another caller then rang in to tell us that he bought his 12 year old son a 125 scrambler for Christmas and doesn't see why everyone is getting so worked up.
This shocked many of you and the lines got jammed with callers who wanted to speak to this man and challenge him!!
