This morning on 98FM’s Big Breakfast, we learned that almost half of children don’t know that eggs come from chickens, believing that they simply pop out of the ground!
A third of children also thought a courgette was an animal and the same number believed Kale was a boy’s name, (although to be fair, it probably is somewhere in the world).
One in 10 believed chocolate and cucumbers grew on trees and that turkey came from pigs.
Chocolate bars growing straight from trees... IF ONLY!
