As blasphemy goes it was mild, and only a bit of craic but some listeners didn’t see it that way.
Dara Quilty, providing a public service on the Big Ride Home on 98FM, asked the man of the moment God, not Connor Mc Gregor, what his thoughts on the upcoming referendum were.
Turns out Dara’s GOD never said he had a problem with same sex marriage. He’s mad in to loving everyone, and loving each person equally. Which is great.
But in the interest of balance Dara’s Satan weighed in. Disliking everyone and arguing against the referendum. Satan also thinks “men and women should be the only ones allowed suffer in their own company for the rest of their lives”. Nice.
But it turns out some people don’t get the balance
“Oh My God.. you can’t say God likes gays on radio”
(he didn’t say that and ehh that’s Blasphemy right there..)
“Who do I write to express my disgust at that last segment?
(which bit .. Satan or God.. please be clear)
“So God has an opinion on same sex marriage.. my wife says he’s wrong.. She also has an opinion on everything and doesn’t believe in balance”
