This morning on Dublin Talks we discussed an email we got from a mother who is refusing to bring her 2 kids into town tomorrow for the parade because of "drunk idiots roaming the streets". She says it is "no environment for kids". We asked if you agree with her?
During the conversation a caller from the UK, who is now living in Ireland, called in to tell us EXACTLY how he feels about Irish people and alcohol. He referred to the Irish as a nation of "stupid drunken idiots falling around the place like animals" and said he sick of looking at it.
The phone lines lit up with calls from people who were absolutely infuriated by him....
