People suffer 4 embarrassing moments a day. Only 4? My life is one big embarrassment. We had a chat about it this morning on The Ray Foley Show.

We're not alone in embarrassment. Thank god!

Some of the most common embarrassing moments:

Forgetting someone’s name when introducing them - this is bloody awful. And even worse when your friend/partner don't pick up on the cues to step in and save the situation. YOU HAD ONE JOB.

Tripping over in public - this is always accompanied with an involuntary 'WHOOP' which is as bad as the trip. But you smoothly recover, pretending that you're at a Mark McCabe gig in 1999 'WHOOP WHOOP!' and carry on. Trooper.

Getting someone’s name wrong - we should all just wear name tags.

Getting food stains or splashes on your top - this isn't so bad. Just shows people that you're a slob, are yet to perfect hand eye coordination and that you ate ketchup on biscuits for lunch. Actually.....

Waving back at someone and they weren't waving at you in the first place - oh god. oh god. Kill me now.

Getting food stuck in your teeth - SLOB.

Waving at someone and they ignore/ don't see you - you're cool. Don't worry about it. No one saw. *They did and think you're a loser.

Being late - this is not embarrassing.

Forgetting where you parked - walking aimlessly around a car park, almost resorting to calling out for your car. Blame the car. Not your awful memory.

Burping accidentally - WHY digestive tract, why do you hate me so much? At least it's not from your arse.

Getting lost - realising and trying to smoothly change directions. You look like someone from the Ministry of Silly Walks.

Having sweat patches - biology is a bitch and ready to mortify us at every turn.

Snorting while laughing - combine this with tea exploding from your nostrils and you get my life.

Flies/ trouser zip being undone - ahh, you'll get over this. Unless you're going commando.

Swallowing food the wrong way - the beautiful splutter. Guaranteed to happen on a 1st/ 2nd date.
