Never in my life have I read so many excited posts on Facebook - Elf The Musical is coming to Dublin. It's running at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from December 16th to January 10th and even though the cast are yet to be announced (and let's face it - it;s unlikely to star Will Ferrell), all of my friends are obsessed and already trying to pre-book tickets!
The musical is based on the movie starring Will Ferrell who plays Buddy, an orphan baby who ends up crawling into Santa's sack and travelling back to the North Pole to be raised by Mr and Mrs Claus. When he discovers the truth that Santa isn't his real dad, he sets off to New York to try and track down his biological father - in a giant Elf suit.
