Ed Sheeran has found himself at the centre of a $20million lawsuit after two songwriters claimed his hit song Photograph strongly resembles a song they released in 2009.
Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard, wrote the song 'Amazing' for X Factor Winner Matt Cardle who won The X Factor in 2010.
They maintain that "the similarity of words, vocal style, vocal melody, melody and rhythm are clear indicators, among other things, that Photograph copies Amazing.”
The songwriters are represented by lawyer Richard Busch, who worked for the Marvin Gaye family in their copyright case against Robin Thicke and Pharrell William's song Blurred Lines.
