Friends in Low Places - The Ultimate Garth Brooks experience
The Ray Foley Show hosted their very own Garth Brooks tribute night in Dalymount Park on Saturday night. The 1400 strong crowd were wowed by the best tribute band in town and the place was absolutely rockin'!
All profits from the night went to Temple Street Children's Hospital!
The whole night was a great success, so thanks to all those who turned out and showed their support.
Even the Gards gave us a bit of publicity!

The Heatwave is officially over
Meteorologists have warned that the heatwave that hung around Dublin for the last few weeks is unfortunately not set to return. Temperature's are to drop over the next few days and wide spread rain is expected by the end of the week. Muireann saw someone wearing a scarf today. Oh no.
What's been going on?
The Vodafone Comedy festival took place this weekend in the Iveagh Gardens with the likes of Dara O'Briain, Russell Howard and Jarlath Regan entertaining thousands of fans! Castle Palooza kicks off this bank holiday weekend in Tullamore Co. Offally. It's not too far a drive from Dublin and there's still some tickets left!

A Man hole exploded in Dublin City Centre
From one weird story to another....
Last Friday in the late afternoon, a manhole on the corner of Merion and Baggott Street exploded. Passers by described a foul smelling green gas pouring from the open grate. It's not thought to be gas related and the case is still being investigated..
Thankfully noone was hurt in the incident!
