Dennis Rodman sang “Happy Birthday” to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un just before playing a friendly basketball match in Pyongyang.
Rodman dedicated the game to his “best friend” Kim, who along with his wife and other senior officials and their wives watched from a special seating area.
The crowd and Rodman's fellow NBA players clapped loudly as Rodman sang a verse from the birthday song.
Describing the event as “historic", Rodman said he was honoured to play the game in North Korea.
Dennis played only in the first half and then sat next to Kim during the second half.
