Florence and the Machine release their/ her third album 'How big, How Blue, How Beautiful' in June. Ship To Wreak is the second single from the album and a distinctly different sound for Flo.
The upbeat tempo is juxtaposed with the nihilistic words but she does manage to keep the marine theme going throughout singing about sharks, thrashing about in water and mice... rodents love ships if I remember my captain Ahab correctly. The video shows the outwardly calm display that we put on for others when inside you could be in utter torment. One thing is clear from the video, the character Florence is playing seriously likes clothes.
With Florence and the Machine slated as a headliner at this year's Electric Picnic, will you be screaming for the new songs in Stradbally or will you be disappointed if she doesn't trot out all of 'Lungs' and 'Ceremonials'?
Is it Deadly or would you like to Dump it?
Tune in tonight from 7-9pm to have your say.
