Alesso is one of the EDM wunderkind posse that includes Avicii, Zedd, Calvin Harris and the elder statesman of the group, David Guetta.
His latest track features Roy English whose real name is Brandon Wronski. Yes, he changed his name from Brandon Wronski to something that makes me think he should be a peripheral character in a 'Roy of The Rovers' story.
The song is called 'Cool'.
The video was shot in Venice High School where Britney filmed 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' and Olivia Newton John & John Travolta got their Greece on, so, lets hope that the school isn't a bad omen for the future of Alesso's career.
Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, Alesso takes the main role in the video. He falls in love with his teacher and tries to get her to notice him through his cool dance moves and, guess what, there's a dream montage where she acts sexy in a classroom in just her knickers 'cause what is a music video without needless female almost nudity.
If you recognise some of the song, it's because it samples Kylie Minogue's 'Get Outta My Way' from 2010 which had marginal, very marginal success.
So, what do you think? Deadly or Dump It?
