Cuala’s hurlers are eyeing further success this afternoon.
The Dalkey men are already Dublin Senior Hurling champions, having claimed their first county crown in 21 years last month with victory over St Judes.
Wins over Coolderry and Clara followed in the Leinster championship, to set up today’s AIB Leinster Final clash with Oulart The Ballagh.
Cuala are set to be without defenders Shane Stapleton and Paul Schutte, who recently underwent surgery on finger and shoulder injuries respectively.
98FM Sport’s Derek Ryan caught up with Cuala midfielder Darragh O’Connell during the week.
O’Connell only transferred up to Cuala this year from his home club Abbeydorney in County Kerry.
And Derek began by asking him how he has found the move up to Dublin- and what the reaction of his Cuala teammates was to having a Kerry hurler in the panel!
