Jamie Moore presents 98FM's Now That's What I Call Sport this Sunday morning from 9am.
A fascinating interview with Brendan Cummins, former Tipperary hurling goalkeeper, who has made more championship appearances than any other hurler. This interview is about more than sport, he played the 2011 All Ireland semi-final two days after his wife Pam had a miscarriage, he kept a diary during those time and goes into great detail in the interview about how he did it without his team-mates even knowing. The book is called 'Standing My Ground'. He'll also tell Jamie about facing shots of up to 181 KM/H.
It's Rugby World Cup semi-final weekend, without Ireland unfortunately. South Africa play New Zealand on Saturday and Argentina play Australia on Sunday. We'll talk about both games and briefly touch on Ireland.
Darren Cleary will preview next weekend's Club Championship Hurling final between Cuala and St. Jude's with Cuala's Mark Schutte, who will also talking about Dublin's plans.
UCD play Finn Harps in the First leg of the League of Ireland First Division relegation/promotion play-off on Friday night, Jamie will have re-action from that game with UCD Manager Collie O'Neill and Finn Harps' boss Ollie Horgan.
And UFC Dublin takes place at a sold out 3 Arena on Saturday night, our MMA guy Fergus will tell us about all the knock out blows!
Jamie will also have three copies of Brendan Cummins' autobiography 'Standing My Ground' to giveaway as well as a brand new New Balance Liverpool FC home kit and some signed Ian Rush goodies.
