This weekend, A Day in May, opens at Dublin's Olympia Theatre.
The play is based on the book by Charlie Bird and is focused around the historical marriage referendum in May 2015.
Leading up to the referendum, Charlie travelled the lenght and breath of the country learning about the true stories and struggles of those campaigning for the vote.
