Stephen Bradley believes new acquisition Roberto Lopes will not be affected by the changeover from Bohemians to Shamrock Rovers.
The 24 year old is one of four new signings made this week by new Rovers Head Coach Bradley.
Joining 'Pico' at Tallaght Stadium are Paul Corry, Ryan Connolly and Danny Devine.
Lopes spent six seasons at rivals Bohemians, captaining the side to an 8th place finish in last years SSE Airtricty League campaign.
He also scored the winner in the final Dublin derby of the 2016 season.
The move has been condemned by Bohemians fans on social media this week, with the 2014 transfer of Luke Byrne and his famous "f**k Bohs I follow the money" leaked snapchat, still fresh in their minds.
On the impact Lopes could make at Tallaght Stadium, Stephen Bradley said "Roberto's a leader. He's a man who understands what it takes to be successful. For me Roberto's one of the top players in the league."
Bradley also pointed to the reputation his new signing holds in opposing camps "When you're playing against him, you're always happy when he's not in the team or not playing because he has such a big influence on the team."
Bradley was speaking to Jamie Moore on Now That's What I Call Sport.
He also told us why he took the job and how they plan over overhaul Cork City and Dundalk.
