Dundalk are just 10 days away from their historic Aviva Stadium showdown with Polish side Legia Warsaw in the Champions League Playoff round.

Success in the tie is worth an estimated €12 million to the Louth side, should they qualify for the group stages of the premier competition in Europe, the first time an Irish club would ever do so.

Following their 3-0 victory over BATE Borisov, centre-back Andy Boyle says the club’s achievement has finally sunk in after a "surreal night"

"It’s a great achievement, one of the best results in the League of Ireland’s history”.

On drawing Legia Warsaw in the play-off round, Boyle said any fixture at this stage of the competition is "going to be tough", but they will go into the tie with confidence after the heroics shown at Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday night.

Jamie Moore was speaking with the 25 year old on Sunday’s Now That’s What I Call Sport.
