This morning on 98FM's Big Breakfast, we were joined by Andy Quirke the creator and star of Damo & Ivor: The Movie.
Andy first introduced northsider Damo to the world in a sketch called 'Skanger Me Banger' when he was just sixteen years old.
Andy told Cooper and Luke how Pat Short was his inspiration to create fun characters.
"Always as a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with Pat Short, that's what got me started in the whole thing...I used to mimic him all the time and it got to the stage where I thought, I need to bring up my own character, and Damo came out of it then.
"If it wasn't for Pat Short, there would be none of this"
