98FM’s League Of Ireland Podcast has been paying tribute to the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division Champions Cork City.

City won their third League Of Ireland title and their first in 12 years thanks to a 0-0 draw at home to Derry City on Tuesday night.

Manager John Caulfield, Goalkeeper Mark McNulty and Captain Alan Bennett spoke to Oisin Langan in Turner’s Cross straight after the game.

Jamie Moore also caught up with some of Cork hero Shane Griffin the morning after the night before.

With the league title finally wrapped up, the attention again turns to a fascinating relegation battle which looks set to go right to the wire.

Finn Harps will be relegated this weekend if they fail to beat Drogheda, their manager Ollie Horgan spoke to us ahead of that game while our LOI expert Mick Cooke gave his views on the battle at the bottom.

While we continued our wrap up of the First Division season with UCD Manager Collie O’Neill.

Our Tweets Of The Week focused on a silly war of words between Shamrock Rovers and Bray Wanderers.
