Two people have been arrested following an armed robbery in Co. Dublin last night.
A man entered a shop in Waterside, in Malahide, shortly before 10pm armed with a hammer.
He forced members of staff to open the till and took a sum of cash.
The man then fled the scene in a vehicle that had been waiting outside the premises.
A short time later, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s were arrested.
They were brought to two different Dublin garda stations.
Gardai say investigations into the incident are ongoing.
