Two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into bogus tradesmen in Dublin after a man in his 80s was scammed.
The man in Clondalkin was contacted by two men who told him he needed substantial work carried out on his home.
He handed over a substantial sum of cash, but the work was never carried out.
Gardai launched an investigation and arrested two men in their 20s yesterday.
They're due to appear at Blanchardstown District Court today.
