'Any contact is out.'
While it's great news that some of our favourite TV shows are filming again, we can expect changes.
Last week the BBC announced a return date Eastenders however, new episodes will be just twenty-minutes long and air four days a week.
Hit dating show First Dates is set to return to our screens next year, but it's going to look a little different.
Daters won't be able to hug, kiss or have any physical contact of any kind!
The series is produced by Coco Content.
CEO for the company, Stuart Switzer, said, 'They must and we must abide by all of the protocols. That is an absolute.'
'Any contact is out. It is challenging but everyone is beginning to realise it is the only way we can work.'
'We will have a Safety Officer on board for the show who will make sure everyone is abiding by the rules. If they don’t, they are off the set - for obvious reasons.'
Switzer finished, 'They can blow each other kisses but no kisses or hugs on our watch due to social distancing.'
'Our own protocols are more stringent in many ways than what the HSE has in place.'
Regardless of the new protocols, the show's boss still believes we're in for a great season.
He revealed the 2021 episodes have almost received the same number of applicants as before.
'We are a nation of romantics aren’t we?'
