The winner of this year's Great British Bake Off was accidentally revealed on Twitter this morning.
The finale of this year's series is set to air on Channel 4 this evening, however judge Prue Leith appears to have announced the winner in a post, which has since been deleted.
In the tweet, Leith -who replaced Mary Berry as a judge on the show - said she "wanted (all three finalists) to win" before saying "bravo" to one of them.
Prue has taken to Twitter to apologise to fans for the error:
I am so sorry to the fans of the show for my mistake this morning, I am in a different time zone and mortified by my error #GBBO.

Steven Carter-Baily, Sophie Fakdi and Kate Lyon go head to head this evening to be crowned the winner of the competition.
