The highly anticipated season 3 of Bridgerton is landing on Netflix soon, and this time our own Nicola Coughlan is the star of the show.
The Netflix period drama first captured our attention back in 2020, with its gorgeous costumes and steamy scenes drawing in millions of viewers worldwide.
The saucy show is based off a series of books written by Julia Quinn, with each season focusing on a different member of the Bridgerton family.
Season 3 will focus on the blossoming romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Our own Showbiz Shannon got a chance to interview Nicola and Luke at the launch of Bridgerton Season 3 last month, and asked them to spill the deets on what spiciness we can expect from their characters.
The answer? So much spiciness that Nicola has requested a special PG cut of the show for her mammy!

"I requested a PG version for my mammy, coz I am not doing that," the Galway actress quipped when Shannon asked if they'd be sitting down to watch the new season with friends and family.
Her co-star Luke Newton joked that he wouldn't even feel comfortable watching Episode 2 with his mam, never mind the episodes to follow.
Way to build anticipation Luke!
He also mentioned that it's not just them going at it this season, implying that more characters are going to be getting hot and heavy in episodes to come.
"It will be significantly shorter," Nicola joked, referencing the PG version she hopes will be made available for her mam 😂
Bridgerton Season 3 is being released in 2 parts, with Part 1 arriving on Netflix in May 2024.
