An iconic board game is the getting the TV game show treatment!
Trivial Pursuit is being adapted for a TV game show format.
American production company Talpa Studios has partnered with Halsboro Entertainment to bring the iconic family board game to the world of TV quiz shows.
The show has already launched on American channel The CW Network. As you might have guessed it’s a question-packed game show, hosted by Emmy-winning presenter and actor LeVar Burton.

“Fast-paced, strategic, and filled with trivia challenges, Trivial Pursuit brings the excitement of the iconic board game to television screens,” according to a statement on the show.
In Trivial Pursuit, three contestants battle it out on a giant version of the Trivial Pursuit game board and its distinctly colored category wedges. Their goal is simple: answer play-along questions from each category, win wedges, and get to the center of the board to take on a dramatic finale against the clock to claim the jackpot.
