Sir Tom Jones could be making a return to The Voice UK when it moves from BBC to ITV. According to The Sun, the music legend could be returning to the spinning red chairs with will.i.am for the talent show's sixth season.
Jones was replaces by Boy George for the 2016 series. Yesterday the Culture Club frontman announced that he won't be returning to the judging panel.
He tweeted to confirm the news and to send his love to will.i.am.
Will.i.am seems to have welcomed Sir Tom back to The Voice. He's retweeted a fan account along with the message: "I'm happy tom jones is back!!! #truePALs #theORIGINALS"
The move would be a shock as Jones claimed he has been dropped from The Voice by BBC last summer with "no consultation or conversation of any kind".
It's not yet known if Ricky Wilson or Paloma Faith - who were also coaches when the show was on the BBC - will be returning.
Sir Paul McCartney,Rachel Stevens, Katy B, Jennifer Hudson, Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue are all rumoured to be contenders for the new judging panel.
The Voice UK are expected to confirm their coaching line-up soon. Emma Willis is returning to host the show on ITV early next year.
