It seems as though this years Oscars ceremony will not be happening over Zoom!
It's a sign that things may be soon back to 'normal'.
With various concerts and events being planned already for the new year, The Oscars has announced that it plans to hopefully have an in person ceremony for 2021.

It's been reported by Variety that an in-person telecast will happen in the coming year in the Dolby theater of Los Angeles, which has a capacity of 3,400.
All though the venue has a large capacity number, it's still not known how many will actually be able to attend the event.
Lucky enough in 2020, The Oscars happened just in time before Covid arrived!
The upcoming ceremony has been pushed back 2 months to April 25th 2021 due to Covid-19. The Academy hopes that more theaters will be allowed open by spring, allowing more movies to compete in the event.
At the moment, some favorites that are showing signs for awards are movies such as Mank, Supernova and Nomadland.
